About Taiga

We strive to deliver superb service and quality, with a personal touch.   Taiga has 3 business streams: project management, real estate, and property management.   We have a small team of dynamic professionals, who also love the outdoors, and enjoying interesting conversations.  We have a broad scope of works, so everyone does a little bit of everything.   The work is always changing, and we meet a large variety of different people every day, which makes it interesting.  

Position:  Guest Services

 The most important thing to understand is that we all need to be generalists, especially because Taiga is a small company.  No task is too big or too small, as long as we work together and communicate clearly.  Specific duties include:

- Property Management
Guest Services, handling bookings (email, web software), check-ins, check-outs, the occasional help to clean up the properties, owner assistance, etc.

- Office Duties
General administrative assistant, including answering phones, posting letters, hosting clients, helping to keep the place tidy, etc.

We are looking for a person who is self-motivated, and who can multi-task.  Preference will be give to bilingual English/Japanese candidates, but relevant experience also carries a lot of weight.  


¥230,000~270,000 depending on skills and experience, plus bonus and benefits.

Depending on the profitability of the company, we normally pay the equivalent of 2 months bonus per year.

Paid holiday 

15 days a year

Work Hours

Basically Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00, with a 1 hour lunch break. During tourism season, weekend work is also required.  A key reason we all live here is for the beautiful environment and lifestyle.  We encourage our staff to be active, and hours can be flexible.
